Everything is Gone
Everything Is Gone
Papers turning black,
People leaving in a rush,
People call, but they are running late.
People screaming and shouting,
Men helping and lifting,
And women looking at the sky and crying.
The siren sounds of cacophony breaks the air
And the soldiers that come in red run into the fires snares,
But the families cannot seem to make themselves care.
It is too late and everything is gone.
The women start to heave and sob,
The town starts to be filled with a sense of malaise,
And the buildings start to crumble and fall.
Everyone is at fault.
Any one could have thwarted the disaster
And no one can hide that fact
